Trust in Hardship

Hello friends. Sometimes we can get in a stopper over life’s trials and troubles. Our flesh can quickly override what we know the word of God promises us. Our minds can even doubt the spoken word that comes to comfort us during our times of discomfort. The emotions of what we maybe going through can cause us to feel like, GOD….WHERE ARE YOU?!!! You question His sovereignty and begin to look for other vices to comfort your sorrows and turmoil.

My friends, can I tell you that this is the time to press into your creator even more. I always remember Job in these times. He was a man who was perfect in his doings, but went through so much turmoil at a point in his life that none of us can even begin to fathom. He questioned God, but one thing he did not do was deny God.Can you imagine going through all this human went through, in one day? It would make your situation seem very minute I’m sure.

My friends. God is very much concerned with your troubles. He allows them for good reason. Our trials merely, yes, merely come to empower us and to increase our capacity in every area of our lives. The same way God restored Job and gave him back even more than he had the first time, God will do the same for you. Our troubles come to show us exactly how we really think and how we will respond to God and others in any given situation.

Instead of cursing the creator, Job said , “Even though you slay me; yet I will trust you.” Can you say the same in your trial? Can you say, Lord even if you never solve my problem; I will still serve you? Job’s attitude to continue to trust God was stellar. If Job can do it then so can you. Let’s take on the same disposition as Job and trust God through the hard times. Your attitude of gratitude will take you a longer way. Don’t become bitter, angry, nor despondent. God is with you through everything, good and bad. With the right attitude God will cause your life to be restored in ways you did not imagine, just like Job.

So be encouraged today to weather your storm however bad it may look to you and serve God no matter what. Trust God to put things into the right perspective as you settle into the right attitude. He loves you and His plan is to prosper you and never to harm you.
