John 8:32, Jesus said, “You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” What is the truth you may ask? Well, Jesus Himself also stated in John 14:6, saying, “I am the way, and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
Hello friends, we live in a world full of lies, falsehood, and error. How do we cipher through it all and get to the root of what we really need to know, so that we can truly follow it and live/function in this world successfully? God gave us a book of instructions, infallibly written, so that the truth about this world, His Sovereignty, and the human race will be known without a shadow of a doubt.
When Jesus said, “I am the way the truth and the life,” He is letting us know that the only way for us to truly understand what this life is about, is to come to Him. He is the word of God. He was spoken to form this very world that we live in, and He is our only way back to God. If we deny Jesus, we will never truly live a successful life; spiritually, emotionally and physically. The things of this world only provide a temporary fix, or short term happiness (this is why we are never satisfied). However, knowing Jesus/Way/Truth/Life, gives us opportunity to go beyong the material things and live a life more meaningful while we are here in this world.
So friends, if you REALLY want the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, you must come to know Jesus first. He is the way that we must follow if we want true freedom. I know that the world and the powers that be have created many directions for us to follow and you may think in your humaness that you can somehow get around God’s way, but the truth is you cannot. We are frial and helpless beings when it comes to the lies and evils that has been set over us for hundreds of years. We need power, wisdom, and love to live this life, and that only comes from and through the one who has framed us and all creation and His name is JESUS.
In your quest for truth today, know that Truth is in the son of the living God. He wants you to know Him so that you can be free in every avery area of your life. You want wisdom on how to live your daily life? He will give you the wisdom that you need to solve your earthly problems. He provides power for you to overcome every obstacle that you will face. He can heal you from all that is hurting you, and give you peace when you don’t understand life and the things that are going on in this world today. In the BIG PICTURE of life, knowing Jesus is and will be your true peace and your true freedom.
