You have not lost your purpose. It is still pending and waiting for you to fulfill it. Someone once said. “The grave yard is full of purpose and talent.” Why? Many people leave this world never truly fulfilling their God given purpose. Many people for numerous reasons never seek out their purpose, or they get stuck and give up, or just live caught up in the hypnotic rhythm of life. If you are here on this planet then the Creator put you here. If He put you here He gave you a reason or purpose to be here. If He gave you a purpose He wants you to seek it out and fulfill it as He has predestined it for you.
What is your story? What are you passionate about? Are you fulfilling your life’s purpose? You have journeyed this far in the world. Amid the chaos and joys in your life are you happy with what you are putting into the world? When your time for being in this world comes to an end, will you be at peace in knowing that you were a light helping someone in a dark place. You were salt, adding flavor wherever you went. You brought joy to someone’s life however small or great. Or will you frown at yourself wishing you lived more purposefully, lovingly, fearlessly, helping others more. Let’s evaluate.
Have you written that book? Have you traveled to that place? Have you forgiven that person? Have you launched that business? Have you stood in front of that crowd to impart wisdom? Have you invented that necessity, or created a solution to a problem? What ever it is you are passionate about is what you must live out. You are gifted, you are talented and this world needs you and the gifts that you bring. Get on with it then. Do what you were created to do. You can do ALL things throught Christ who strengthens you Philippians 4:13. Ask Him to refresh you concerning your purpose if you are weary. Ask Him to show you and he will lead and guide into what will fulfill you most, His purpose for your life. It’s still pending.
