Psalm 23:3, “He refreshes my soul.”
Hello Friends! How does it feel when things fall into a good place? How does it feel after you have been through a trial/test/temptation and the negatives take a turn in your favor? You can see, taste, feel, smell your victory and now you have received it. You withstood whatever the challenge was and rose to the victory you are now celebrating. You don’t know exactly how you overcame when it all seemed so insurmounatble, but you overcame. You were able to push past your pain and give birth to what was promised to you. My friends!, HOW REFRESHING!!!, YES!, it’s a feeling of refreshing and excitement. You feel brand new and it’s an assurance that you are loved.
You see my friends, no one knows your journey like you do. No one knows the battles you face and how you face them like you, and no one will experience the joy of your victory like you. We will all face many balltes in life, but God has given many things to refresh our lives, make it better, and keep us on track. The tests and challenges come to ensure that you are equipped and ready to handle the responsibility of the promise you so desire. Remember, God gives blessings, not temporary fixes. He will not give you what you are not ready for (wait on the Lord). When prayers are answered, there is a sudden burst of energy and spiritual renewal that awakens us to a deeper and more centered relationship with God. We become more trusting of Him and open ourselves to receive more of Him and from Him.
My friends, when you have been refreshed you feel like you can conquer the world, and you did. When you are refreshed, you fear less and you care less of what tries to come against you. Your fighting power is strengthened, and you have gained wisdom to apply to life’s situations, and help to encourage others. My prayer today is that we are refreshed in our very soul. Beyond the need for material and tangible things. Refreshed to function in a greater capacity. Refreshed to try again. Refreshed to smile again. Refreshed to love again. Whatever it is that we may need refreshing in, I pray today that we are fully refreshed.
