They do not speak peaceably, but devise false accusations against those who live quietly in the land. Psalm 35:20.
Hello friends! Have you ever been accused of doing things you did not do, or saying things you did not say? Have your words, or actions ever been twisted to look like you did something wrong? Are there people in your life who do not speak peaceably of you, but devise vicious rumors against you? Have you ever felt as if you have been put in a lion’s den at their hungriest moments, or felt as if you were Joseph being thrown into a pit? If you have been or are currently in this position, here is a word of comfort for you. “Remain quiet.“
Friends, being quiet does not mean that you are guilty of the accusations. Being quiet does not mean that you have raised a white flag to your accuser/s. What you must understand and settle on is that whatever the accusation or accusations may be against you, if you are in the position of truth then you must allow that truth to defend you and work on your behalf. Do not allow your emotions to be disrupted by what is not true and what is not based on the Truth. YES!, it can be emotionally painful dealing with false accusations which aim to destroy your moral character however you remain quiet so that you can defuse any chaos and allow your defender to fully take on your case.
The Sovereign God who is your defender will give you His peace and comfort through His Holy Spirit who lives in you. When God is defending you in His court of justice, The Spirit of God in you will uphold you and give you the strength and wisdom that you need to keep your heart pure toward those bringing accusations during your trial. The Just Judge has all the evidence you need to clear your name, and He himself will rebuke every false thing brought up against you. When your heart is pure and your hands are clean, no enemy will triumph over you. You can be confident in knowing that the Sovereign Judge will rule in your favor and give you victory.
Peace and Love!
