Hello Friends! Do you like new things? I am sure that we all do. New things can be scary, just as much as they can be exciting. We purchase and are given new things each and every day. It’s the motion of the world. New clothes, new jewelry, new cars, new homes, new businesses, and the list goes on. We experience new days, new months, new years, new opportunities, and more. We enjoy the instant and temporary gratification the newness of all these material things brings us. Material things can certainly make us feel that we are living our best life and being successful. New things can also give us a sense of refreshing, and that refreshing brings a new strength that makes us feel like we can conquer the world.
Friends, can I tell you that while all the new things are good, there is NOTHING like ‘NEW BEGINNINGS.’ There is nothing like the opportunity to start over again after you have made so many mistakes that have caused your life to be in shambles, or have caused your life to be in a state of delay. Wouldn’t you love a chance to have a clean sleight? To right the wrongs. To make better decisions. Well friends, can I tell you that God (our Creator) provides this opportunity. You may not be able to change your past, but you can indeed receive a newness from Him that will give you the mindset to move forward with a better outlook on your life.
When you accept and receive your ‘New Beginning,’ you will be on a path beyond the gratification of material things and the disappointment of what could have been. Mistakes will be blotted out and the learned lessons, whatever they may be, can now be applied to your days ahead. The mercies of God that are new every morning will give you peace about your past, and transform you to live in peace and in wisdom. Your character will be sharpened, and people will eventually begin to see the change in you. Their minds can shift to accept you in this new way, and your mind will also shift in the way you see others.
We all need New Beginnings. We all need the chance to be better people. We all need forgiveness for some things we have done, and we all need to forgive others who have done things against us. If any man be in Christ, yes! Christ, He is a new creature: old things are passed away; all things are become new, 2 Corinthians 5;17 KJV. So thank God for ‘New Beginnings.’ Trust that He will make all things new in your life, and He surely will. There are only a few things that we can promise ourselves without failing. Having a Christ consciousness is a renewing of the mind that heals our whole life. Only He can truly give you a New Beginning.
