Psalm 118:24 KJV, This is the day which the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
Hello Friends! Today is another day that your creator has made for you to rejoice in. The scripture does not state the conditions you must be in to rejoice, but it does say to rejoice. Therefore it does not matter what you may be going through, what matters is that you are still here to witness this new day. You still have His breath in your body, and that’s all the reason you need to rejoice.
frustrations, sadness, and disappointments are agents that come to steal the joy that set you in an unstoppable mood. Joy brings strength for the day, but if you refuse to rejoice, your day will not be any better. Let rejoicing come from your being. Set the tune of this day given to you with rejoicing. You may feel, or even say you have nothing to rejoice about, but think about goodness and mercy, and the fact that you are still alive. This means that you have another opportunity to see the wrongs made right. You have another opportunity to grow, to change, to expand, to show kindness, to forgive and be forgiven, and so many other wonderful things.
Friends, rejoice in the Lord no matter what. Let Him know that you are grateful for this day He has given to you. Do not waste your day worrying and complaining. What you may count as bad is really only for your good. When circumstances look ugly, rejoicing in Him will add beauty. Then…….. strength will come to rejuvenate you. Joy will override every negative emotion and settle you as you face the day.
