Faith in Frustration

Hello friends, Keeping Faith in the midst of frustration can be, well, frustrating at times. Going through periods of disappointment, confusion, fear, loneliness, rejection, or just feeling like, What else do I do? I have done all I can. How do I get out of these feelings that are trying to arrest me, stagnate me, paralyze me? All these emotions rush in like an exclamation and the outside world seems to be a blurr.  However, you must continue to function as quote, “normal.” You must continue to function in the roles of your responsibilities. People are depending on you. You are depending on you. You ask God what is happening, and it seems as if He is farrrr in the distance and there are no immediate answers. Now, the pity party begins with balloons, confetti and the works. Is frustration getting the best of you?

My friends, some seasons of our lives will require us to dig deeper, go harder, push more intensely, or even pull back. Some seasons will test you like never before. Why must I go through these experiences you may ask.  Well…. so, YOU can see what is in you and be matured in the areas where your faith is weak. There is no getting around being stretched and pressed in life and having to deal with all that that stretching and pressing brings. This is where your Faith will and must kick in. In spite of what you are  going through in your life, or in spite of how messy things may look to you, you must remember one thing, GOD IS THERE WITH YOU. Yes! He is taking you to another level. Another level of growth, maturity, wisdom. When it all levels out you will know that He was there the whole time. Even when you thought He was farthest away. Even when your Faith was faint and you fell short of trusting Him, YES! He was still there…… The evidence of the situations working out for your good tells you YES! He was there. Then you laugh and say, Lord I really need to relax and trust you more.

I want to encourage you today. I want you to encourage someone else as well. Because when you go through life experiences it is not just for yourself. You can use the things you are going through and went through to empower someone else. So, don’t give up. Don’t let your frustrations get the best of you. You will go through what you must, but you can come out better than you were before. Just trust God and He will increase your faith. Call (continue to pray and praise) on Him no matter what KNOWING He WILL answer you giving hope and a future. One of my favorite scripture text comes from Proverbs 3:5-6, and it says, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart; and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your path. None of us know exactly how our days will go and things don’t alway go the way we planned, but we can rest in the fact that if we trust God, He will direct and instruct us throughly through everything. Every roller coaster of frustration and emotion will subside when your Faith is strengthened. You will have peace in the midst. Faith in God will get you through your frustration.

Peace and Love!
