Grace

“For by grace have you been saved through faith. And this is not of your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:8-10.

Grace: God’s undeserved favor. Grace cannot be earned; it is something that is freely given.

Hello Friends, as the grace of God is defined in us, we become refined by this same grace. Sometimes we can think that if we do many good things on earth, that makes us right with God. However, we must realize that there is nothing we have done or can ever do to make God love us. Remember He loves us already (John 3:16). It is because of God’s love for us that we want to do good things. So never count yourself to having attained your own righteousness. No one is good of themselves. We all need the grace of God to validate our life living.

Friends, we should not stress ourselves thinking that because we have done good, good should come to us. Neither should we stress ourselves thinking that because we have done bad things good will not come to us. None of that secures our lives. What secures our life for the long term is knowing that you have the gift of the grace of God. It is His grace that gives us the fortitude to live a satisfied and wholesome life. There is nothing we can do in our humanness, if you will, to be worthy before a Holy God (our Creator). Therefore, He has given us His grace through Jesus Christ His son. We are not condemned. We have the opportunity, through Christ, to appear righteous before God.

Friends, Christ is the ONLY one who can make whatever we do acceptable to God. When we are in Christ, God sees us as he sees His son, BLAMELESS. Thank you Jesus for what you have done for the human race! So thank your Creator for the grace, His grace He has given you. Do not let anyone discount the grace of  God on your life. Continue to put your trust in His grace which will lead you to life abundantly.

Peace and Love!
