Gracefully Broken

What a beautiful state to be in. GRACEFULLY BROKEN. As we used the analogy of a wild horse being broken in our last reading, we see the process of  how a horse is broken by its rider, and it gives us a picture idea of the process of God breaking us to establish love and trust toward Him. God has chosen you to be apart of His divine plan for the world. He wants you to partner with Him to fulfill His plan of bringing mankind back to Him. He carefully hand picked you, and called you to Himself. Scripture says in Matthew 22:14 that many are called but few are chosen, because many will not say yes to His call. Few there be who will answer. Many will not endure the breaking. Many do not want to live life God’s way, and many turn back and reject His call.

My friends, the full breaking must transpire. We must be transformed by the renewing of our minds so that we can begin to see the truth of God’s way of living and begin to walk in it. You can no longer live life your way and on your terms. You are no longer your own, running wild and untamed. “For you have been bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.” 1 Corinthians 6:20. You now willing belong to your master through salvation in Jesus Christ. You belong to the one you have given your life to. We cannot be successful longterm living this life without God and/or living a life of disobedience to Him.  As He breaks, trains, and equips us to live a whole and healed life, we will surely see the benefits of the breaking over time. His breaking is graceful. His breaking is done in Love with our best interest at heart. Believe that. Our lives become enriched with experiences that reveal His love and power. This is the same love and power He wants us to walk in. This love and power brings a soundness of mind. We now have true freedom as God Guides us willing, by the reins of His Spirit into life everlasting.

God loves and values us so much. He doesn’t have to but he does. He is The Sovereign God. He is very patient with us until we submit to Him. When we submit He gently and safely grips us to show us who we really are, and who He is. So, ALLOW God to break you and transform you into the person He has called you to be.
