Hello friends. Do you find yourself grieving over loved ones you have lost, something you have lost, or a situation that took something from you that you can’t seem to get over? You can’t seem to get beyond the grief even knowing that you absolutely cannot change the situation. The pain you feel outweighs the happiness of new moments that you are experiencing, and you feel that life is no longer joyous. Well….. can I tell you that according to the word of God, “Weeping may endure for a night; but joy comes in the morning.” Psalm 30:5.
You may ask, How is it possible to move from grief to joy when you have lost something you love? You see, in your moments of grief, you must remember that your Creator who gives life, also fills the empty spaces of the the things you have lost that cannot be replaced. Life has many things attached as we live it out, and nothing is permanent, including the things we hold near and dear. God knows this and has provided us with a supernatural dependency on Him. He is the one who is able to give you joy where there is sorrow. He loves you and wants nothing more than for you to experience long-term joy. Yes, we will experience the pain of loss, but we are also promised joy.
My friends, do not think for a moment that you have to LIVE IN A STATE OF GRIEF. Allow God to pour out His oil of joy on you. It will heal your heart and mind from the grief you are feeling. Praise Him instead, for a good future ahead. His plans for you are good. Grief cannot take over your life when you give it to God. He will comfort you through new people and experiences that let you know He is with you and life still has goodness. God himself grieves, Jesus grieved while He was here on the earth, and His Spirit also grieves, therefore God knows exactly what we feel. Knowing He is touched with your grief is a great boost into the joy He has waiting for you. So, give Him your grief in exchange for His joy so that you can enjoy your life again. When His joy is in your heart, it WILL exceed all grief and give you strength.
Peace and Love!
