Woman You are valuable!
Have you ever really stopped to think about your self-worth? Do you know your identity, who you are and your life’s purpose? Well, can I tell you that when you were created, you were well thought out by your creator. The circumstances under which you were born does not matter. What matters is that your creator wants you here. Therefore, He is the only one who can set your value, or give you any REAL sense of worth and purpose. As you ponder these questions, I invite you to search the scriptures/ancient book of truth, and see exactly what God says about you.
According to Psalm 139:14 you are fearfully and wonderfully made. Jeremiah 1:5 says, ” Before I (Creator) formed you in the womb I knew you. Jeremiah 29:11 says, “For I know the plans I have for you” declares the Lord, “Plans to prosper you, plans to give you hope and a future. You see?! The God of ALL creation has placed you in the earth to fulfill HIS plans through you. As a matter of fact, scripture also says that, “Many are the plans in a man’s heart; but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.” Therefore, you are not here to fulfill you own plans, you are here to fulfill God’s purpose for your life. His plan trumps yours, and as we have read Jeremiah 29:11, His planns are GOOD. He has already set in you, everything that you will ever need to accompolish all that He has assigned for you to do in this world, so do not be afraid. What a priviledge, and how exciting to be a part of God’s plan for the human race.
By the way…… What is value? Value is the regard that something is held to deserve; the importance, worth, or usefulness of something. Principles of standard of behavior; one’s judgment of what’s important according to the Oxford dictionay. FYI, your value does not come from other people; People will disappoint you, even the ones closest to you, and you will disappoint others as well. Your value does not come from your outward appearance; Beauty fades. Your value does not come from material possessions; Thieves come in and steal, and things can be destroyed. You value does not come from educational degrees, nor any personal acheivements; Memory can fade. While all these things are good in their place, they DO NOT GIVE YOU VALUE. Should you lose all these things, would that also mean that you have lost all your value? You answer. So set your affection toward heavenly things and you will never lose your value.
God holds you in high regard and wants to display you in the gifts and talents He has placed in you when He formed you in your mother’s womb. You are His investment in the earth, and He has given you the responsibility to express who He is. When you come to this understanding, you will beging to put your life into perspective, and be more intentional about the way you live your life. Aligning with God’s purpose is a total game changer. I testify that It has helped me to embrace my value, and has caused me to recognize that I do not need the approval of another person to validate me. I am now comfortable in the skin I’m in. When you know your value, you will be less focused on what people think about you. Less focused on the negativities of life. When you know your value, you will perform to the best of your God given abilities and never settle for mediocrity. When you know your value, you see the gift that you are. When you know your value, you will treat others the way you want to be treated. When you know your value, you will leave a legacy that other people will never forget.
So keep the thoughts of God toward you in mind when you go through life’s challenges, and know that whatever you go through, was in the plan, and everything will turn out for your good.
