Hello Friends! Psalm 23 is one of the first passages of scripture that we have learned to recite even from a very young age. It is one of the most popular scriptures to turn to when facing any situation. From provision, to protection, to prosperity, to peace. Everything you need, and no matter what you may be facing, Psalm 23 encourages us in letting us know that we have a shepherd who is with us at all times. He will take care of us through all the seasons of our lives until we leave this world.
For every season of our lives, we need these words of encouragement from King David, a shepherd himself, and a man after God’s own heart. He knew well the responsibilities and the faithfulness of a shepherd, and so he looked to God for everthing he wanted (even though he was king). A shepherd will do whatever it takes to take care of his sheep fully and completely. God will provide all that he has promised. All we need do is follow the leading of The Good Shepherd. He wants you to experience a life fruitful in every way. He will never lead us astray, only along the right path to a place of peace in our lives.
So friends, as you go throughout your day today, allow this scripture to be stirred up in your thoughts. Refresh your memory of who the Good Shepherd is and all He has provided for you. Put a new perspective on that problem. Apply the words of Psalm 23 on it. Be confident in knowing that God’s Grace and Mercy will follow you wherever you go and in whatever you do. YOU ARE BLESSED ALREADY!
