Rest in God

Hello friends! Have you ever been so weary with a situation that you just can’t seem to get out of, and you wish it would just go away? Have you ever been so weary with a person, that you just want to give up on them? Do you get tired of all the drama that life can sometimes bring from all angles? Well, I think as long as you are a human being, you would have carried, or have had these feelings at some point throughout your life. As a matter of fact, we all have and will experience some form of hardship, disappointment, sadness, or displeasure as long as we are in this world. Jesus Himself warned us in John 16:33 KJV, that in this world we will have tribulation, but He also encourages us to be of good cheer. YES, be of good cheer. Why? Because He overcame the world and so can we.

You see my friends, these are the moments when we prove God to be all that He says He will be for us. It is in these times of trials when we get to see what is really in us. Are we going to take God at His word and really trust Him to work out the situations in our lives, or are we going to fold up and allow our faith to diminish? Whether we believe it or not, trials actually come to make us strong, to enlighten us to truth, and to bring out our the fighting power within us. However, trials can also make us weary, make us want to give up on people, things, and God. Trials can steal your joy, and the very fight that you have in you. God wants you to recognize and know, that as His child, HE FIGHTS FOR YOU. There is no situation that you find yourself in, that God cannot fix, heal, or make clear through you. He is with you every step of the way. Didn’t He already say that He would be with you, help you, provide for you, protect you, comfort you??? If He said it my friends, then that’s exactly what He will do.

Rest in God. Whatever you may be feeling weary with today, give it to the one who will work it out seeing that you can’t. Some things we don’t have the ability to fix, change, or do on our own, and in our human strength. We NEED our Heavenly Father to step in and work on our behalf, whatever that work may be. He wants to show us just how much He loves us and can intervene in earthly matters for us. So rejoice in the fact that you are not alone, and that you don’t have to work out all these situations by yourself. Rejoice that you have a loving Father, who has power above every other power looking out for you. Don’t give up just rest in Him and stay in obedience to His word. He will give you the strenght that you need to keep doing good. To accomplish things continously in His wisdom.  He will stir you up inside and give you the strength to keep loving others. So rest/rely on Him. Let’s not grow weary in well-doing, for in due season we will reap, if we do not lose heart, Galatians 6:9.
