Being broken changes your mindset. Being broken gives you a fresh start. Being broken sets you on a path of seeing things the way they really are. Being broken brings a freedom that you will never have or experience doing things your own way, and on your own terms. Remember, God, your creator is the one doing the breaking. Breaking is not easy for the one being broken, but it is necessary for a disciplined and prosperous life.We may not know the details of our destiny, or how it will play out exactly, but we do know that God has predestined everyone he calls.
God has already set a plan and purpose in place for you, as we have confirmed in, Jeremiah 29:11. God always confirms His plans in His word. Romans 8:28 NIV says, “And we know that in all things God works together for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose. For those God foreknew He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His son, that he may be the first born among many brothers and sisters. And those He predestined, He also called; those He called, He also justified; those He justified, He also glorified.” This scripture confirms to us that yes, our lives have been predestined by God. This scripture also confirms that everything is going to work out for our good because we love God. Love for God gives us the will to submit to His plan and purpose. The breaking that we experience helps to align us with God’s Will for our lives. You do not need to worry about the life you choose to live in Christ. You do not need to be afraid of your future. You don’t need a psychic, fortune teller, or horiscope to predict your future according to any stars. Just look to your creator who has already predestined your life. Seek His counsel and He will instruct you on how to carry out the plans HE made for you.
Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the LORD’S purpose that prevails, Proverbs 19:21 NIV. We must walk out whatever God has spoken to happen in our lives. All we have to do is follow His leading. He says His plans are good plans. Plans to prosper you, to give you hope and a future. That doesn’t sound like a bad plan to me. This tells me that God has set us up to win no matter what. Can you assure youself of winning every, or any battle that life throws at you? When your character is being challenged and your patience is exhausted, to you have the strength on your own to have peace and remain in steadfast love? When situations are beyond your control and you are helpness in your humaness. These are the times beloved, when you will witness God to be who he says He is. This is when you begin to see the true benefits of being broken. God is with you and will help you every step of the way. He loves and values us so much, and wants us to experience His love and a life that is totally secured by Him. And as we learn the depth of His love for us in these moments, we begin to develope and reciprocate that love back to Him.
The breaking is God working together with us, for our good. So, continue to ALLOW God to work in you until you are conformed. Conformed to what? The image of His son. All this can only happen through Jesus Christ His son. For it is the son who reconciles/brings us back to the Father. That is the goal. To become like the one He sent to save you from a dark, dying, and chaotic world. Christ came that you might have life, and have it to the full, John 10:10. Therefore, Life is to be enjoyed. inspite of the challenges, so enjoy your life, but do it according to God’s plan and purpose for you.
